And that lesson is written in blood.Rosario Tijeras, by Jorge Franco, is one of the most important novels in contemporary Latin American literature. This vivid graphic novel adaptation, created by Pablo Guerra and Henry Díaz, evokes the most turbulent years of drug trafficking in Medellín and tells the story of a generation of young people who grew up in the comunas with no options beyond violence.

“This graphic narrative, without excessive embellishment, recalls in certain passages the work of Gekiga and adult manga artists… as Díaz does here, giving space to the marginalized—to street vendors, to the unemployed, to those struggling to get by.”

"Science fiction is a challenging genre, shaped by established formulas—but Dos Aldos completely breaks away from cliché.”
— Manuela Espinal Solano, El Espectador (Colombia)
“Rather than focusing on detailed world-building typical of the genre, Dos Aldos centers on character development, following how they respond to the unfolding events.”

“My attention was held by Díaz, whose characters generally engage in an unusual amount of gestural, almost stagey 'acting,' though really pours emotion into his depiction of the woman.” — Joe McCulloch, The Comics Journal, Sep 19, 2014.” - The comics journal"Two Toms, by Pablo Guerra and Henry Diaz. This mini was the only English-language release at the Revista Larva table at SPX 2015. … Diaz' work reminds me a lot of Brandon Graham: lots of sumptuously curvy lines influenced by graffiti art and perhaps even some of Graham's primary influence, Vaughn Bode". — Rob Clough, High-Low Comics (blog), May 11, 2015. MEMORIAZ

Colectivo El Globoscopio, 2013
Diarios de historieta series
Staple-bound · 28 pages · Black & White
Published in Colombia
Written and illustrated by Henry Díaz

In 2012, Henry Díaz set out to document his experience at the Entreviñetas Festival in Colombia. Rather than a formal chronicle, Memoriaz unfolds as a spontaneous and personal visual diary of days shared through talks, events, and walks across Bogotá and Armenia alongside fellow artists and invited guests.Told with the rhythm of a sketchbook journal, the comic captures fleeting gestures, casual conversations, and quiet moments that shape the warmth of creative community—portraying a space where comics became an excuse to connect with others and, in the process, with oneself.
